We enjoyed a complimentary stay at 620 Prince. All opinions are my own.
Situated along South Carolina’s Hammock Coast in Georgetown, South Carolina, 620 Prince combines sophisticated charm and modern renovation in an 1882 coastal home.
Located a block from the heart of downtown, this six-room bed and breakfast brings an unparalleled luxury experience to South Carolina’s third oldest city.

Asher and I spent the weekend celebrating our anniversary and taking in everything 620 Prince and Georgetown has to offer. Like most coastal towns, time seems to slow down under live oak canopies and blue-painted porch ceilings.
We spent time wandering the rooms of the bed and breakfast, only to find that no detail was left unnoticed during the restoration of the building in 2017. From contemporary decor to classic antiques, 620 Prince sits ready to wow any guest that walks through its doors (and it wowed me — just ask Asher).
620 Prince offers a European-style breakfast in the morning and beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres in the evening on the weekends, allowing you time to chat with other guests or find a quiet spot in a rocking chair on the porch. Not to mention, the bed and breakfast boasts a reading nook on the second floor, an outdoor swimming pool and bicycles.

The surrounding area, much like 620 Prince, has lots to offer. We spent our time exploring the Harborwalk, viewing local artwork, and strolling through the shops downtown. Indigo Mercantile and Rice Birds (and the people we met there — Georgetown is home to the friendliest folks) were easily my favorites. We also walked the short distance to dinner downtown, finding fresh seafood at River Room, a Georgetown staple, and Between the Antlers, a newer restaurant serving up food and views.
620 Prince is located less than 20 minutes from the beach at Pawley’s Island, so we found time to stick our toes in the sand and meander through The Hammock Shops Village.
From museums and tours for the history buffs, boating for the nature enthusiast and ice cream shops for, well, everyone, Georgetown has something for all to enjoy. We highly recommend 620 Prince for your next visit to this unique, little town.
