What I love about Valentine’s Day is that there is no gift too small to say I love you (a bar of chocolate will do just the trick) and that you can buy for anyone you love (not just a significant other). It’s a simple way to say, “Here’s a crappy box of chocolates, because I love you and was thinking about you.”

My dad bought me the cutest gold bow earrings (pictured above), and I LOVE them! They’re dainty and feminine and perfect for an affordable Valentine’s Day gift. I also have the She’s Birdie safety alarm, ideal for the women in your life who travel, attend college or go on walks.

A lot of these items were Valentine’s Day picks from my husband, Asher. He loves plants, so I bought him this Plantopedia book for Christmas. It’s honestly one of the best plant books I’ve seen.
He’s also a fan of Jordan Peterson and recommends his book, “12 Rules for Life.” He and my dad both love Black Rifle coffee. I bought my dad this hot dog toaster for Valentine’s Day one year, and it made the perfect gift (and hot dogs).
