When you’re invited to a wedding in Colorado, you might as well build in some time for exploration, right? We had three days to take in all the sights and visit some extraordinary places.
One of the many things I love about Charleston, S.C. is that you can always find or experience something new every time you visit.
One of my favorite trips to take with Asher is to visit his grandma and aunt in Kenansville, Florida. Haven’t heard of it? It’s basically in the middle of a beautiful nowhere.
We find ourselves going there often – sometimes for a weekend trip to see my family. I’m always looking for new places to go, but there are certainly places that have become our go-tos. Here are my favorite places to visit when I’m home for the weekend.
This time we decided to take in the free and inexpensive sights and scope out the best food in the city.
We arrived extremely hangry, so our first destination was dinner. Gyros were calling our names, so we headed straight for Greek on Cary. We ordered the chicken gyro and the classic beef and lamb. I loaded up on the grilled veggies (which I highly recommend), and Asher went for the fries.
Cue my inner Lizzie McGuire and call my husband Paolo. I’m so excited to share about our short time in Rome with you. We began and ended our Italian honeymoon in the ancient city.
Exploring under the Tuscan sun has always been a dream of mine. During our visit, Florence effortlessly weaved itself onto my list of the best places in the world.
The sun came out on our second day in Venice, and it made all the difference! We started our day with lattes and pastries in a little hole-in-the-wall eatery before heading to St. Mark’s Square and the Bridge of Sighs.
It’s not every day you get the chance for a mini weekend getaway with the best of friends. Our day trip to Atlanta, Ga. turned into an overnight adventure so the boys could visit a car show.
