Visiting Christmas Town USA, or commonly referred to as McAdenville, N.C., is by far one of the most festive things to do at Christmas time.
The whole town lights up to celebrate the Christmas season with more than 160 decorated homes and 265 evergreen trees decorated in over 500,000 lights.
We stopped at one of my favorite local coffeeshops, Floyd and Blackies, for an americano and vanilla chai lattes before beginning our trek through the little town.
We normally park in the Food Lion parking lot across the street, but you can also park at the elementary school (it’s a little harder to get to because of the traffic).
For the ultimate date night, consider going to Table and Market for dinner or grabbing a cupcake from See Jane Bake downtown. There’s also a really cute shop, 115 Main Gifts and Provisions (pictured below), located in the same area.
