I was gifted the GRO Shampoo and Conditioner, GRO Hair Serum, GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum, and GRO Dry Shampoo for a Vegamour review. This is my honest review. All opinions are my own.
Everyone has heard the quote by Coco Chanel—“A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life.” And it’s true. A woman’s hair does have the power to change how she feels, for better or worse.
But I would go one step further to say that a woman who changes her hair routine is about to change her life. Each of us knows our hair the best—what makes it frizz (hello, humidity), what makes it dry out, how many days we can go without washing it, and the list goes on.
Because of that, I’m always wary of trying a new product. I’m a creature of habit, and I know what I like. But after trying a few of Vegamour’s products, I can confidently say I love them all.

Vegamour is a hair wellness company that takes a holistic, non-toxic approach to fighting hair loss and repairing damaged hair follicles. Their products, made from plant-based, bioavailable and fair-trade ingredients, are clinically tested and backed by scientific results.
As women, we face hair loss for many reasons, whether it’s caused by stress or lack of sleep, postpartum, sickness, an autoimmune condition, poor nutrition, cheap hair care products, aging or just normal shedding. What I’m trying to say is, it happens to the best of us.
Disclaimer: I will *always* recommend working with a functional medicine doctor or nutritionist if your hair loss could be from an underlying health condition. As someone who has an autoimmune disease, I’m the first to tell you to get to the root cause. I also recommend adding supplements and hair care like Vegamour for an extra boost. Okay, back to the blog post.
What I love most about Vegamour is that they leave out harmful ingredients. Before Vegamour reached out, I had already used their dry shampoo and LOVED it.
Vegamour has SO MANY products (including supplements for hair growth from the inside out and even an eyebrow serum). They gifted me the GRO Shampoo and Conditioner, GRO Hair Serum, GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum, and GRO Dry Shampoo for my Vegamour review. So here we go!

Vegamour Review
GRO Dry Shampoo
Well, the cat’s out of the bag—I already told you I LOVE the dry shampoo. It makes my hair feel clean and lightweight, sprays on evenly and smells amazing. The key ingredient is red clover. If I had to pick my favorite Vegamour product out of all the ones I tried, this would be it. I’m ashamed to admit that I use it almost daily.
GRO Hair Serum
I received a 90-day supply (3 bottles) of the GRO Hair Serum, which is the amount recommended to begin seeing results. I can say my hair grew faster than ever. How did I notice? My roots from my highlights were showing at a rapid rate—yikes. So be prepared for it to work. The key ingredients are turmeric, caffeine, biotin, and mung bean and red clover blend. With normal hair loss, the serum probably isn’t necessary, but it will make your hair grow fast.

GRO Shampoo and Conditioner
Am I the only one who loves a good, foamy shampoo? Vegamour’s shampoo foams up almost as soon as it hits my hair. Shampoo-wise, it feels like luxury. Combined with the conditioner, this set effectively removes unwanted buildup (or all the dry shampoo we love to use). The ingredients include clean oils, biotin and other bioavailable ingredients.
GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum
The GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum is a great addition to your weekly hair routine. It eliminates buildup, refreshes your scalp, and revitalizes your roots. In 2023, the serum was on the Women’s Health list of healthy hair award winners. If you have a dry scalp, this is the product for you. Personally, it was my least favorite but worth the purchase if you’re feeling extra boujee.
Have you tried Vegamour? What are your favorite hair care products? Tell me in the comments!
